KAYANKULAM: Former SFI leader Nikhil Thomas, who is currently on a hiding spree after engaging in degree fraud will be caught soon by police. The investigation team has got a hint about the whereabouts of Nikhil. As of now, the former SFI leader is shuttling from hideouts in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram. The police recently questioned his close friends and relatives, and have acquired vital information.

A former SFI leader who assisted Nikhil in creating the fake certificate will be brought from Maldives to Kerala. Nikhil shared a close rapport with this leader, who earlier worked in his own education consultancy firm in Kayankulam. According to police, after getting the fake certificate labeled in the name of Kalinga University, a transaction of Rs 2 lakhs was made from Nikhil’s account to this SFI leader. The police fear more such fake documents under this anonymous leader's tutelage to students across SFI.

The police team visiting Kalinga University will make a return to Kerala today. And now, MSM college faculties will be questioned by the police as part of the investigation.
