sudhakaran-quitting

KOCHI: K Sudhakaran informed the media about his willingness to relinquish position as KPCC president. The decision comes after his much-politicized arrest for the financial fraud case involving conman Monson Mavunkal.

“ I won't stand against anything that vilifies the congress party. I'm thinking about quitting my role as KPCC president. The party can decide about this as discussions are also ongoing. I'm innocent and I truly believe in our country’s judiciary” Sudhakaran commented.

Meanwhile, opposition leader V D Satheeshan backed Sudhakaran saying the workers of the congress party will form a bulwark and are even ready to die protecting Sudhakaran. “ The government is mired in corruption. If not for the court intrusion, Sudhakaran would have been jailed. Sudhakaran is not alone. Thousands of congress workers will shield him. We won't allow him to leave his position as KPCC president.” Satheeshan said.
