KOLLAM: A KSRTC bus and a van collided near Kulakkada in Kottarakkara injuring more than 20 people. The pickup van driver and one passenger from the bus suffered serious injuries. They both are admitted to taluk hospital in Kottarakkara.

The pickup van driver Thrissur native Sharan (30) and bus passenger Kilimanoor native Balan Pillai (52) were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The van looks completely destroyed in the crash. The locals say both vehicles were coming at considerable speed.
