THRISSUR: Stale fish caught again in the state. Food safety officials seized 1500 kg of rotten fish from Thrissur railway station. The fish was supposed to be delivered to Thrissur Sakthan market.

The stale fish arrived in the Shalimar Express which reached Thrissur railway station yesterday evening. The old fish were kept in 36 boxes and these were sent from Odisha. The authorities waited until dawn today for someone to claim the boxes, but no one came. After nine o'clock in the morning, three people arrived claiming the boxes.
