THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The lucky winner of Vishu Bumper has been finally identified. The winner is a native of Kozhikode. The man requested to the lottery department not to disclose his information and left after accepting the prize money of Rs 7.58 crore after deducting tax. He approached the lottery department on June 22 with the ticket. The name of the lucky winner will remain a secret as he has requested not to reveal his identity.

The Vishu bumper was drawn on May 24. The first prize was for the ticket VE 475588 sold by CKV Agency at Chemmad in Malappuram. The rule is that the winner should approach the lottery department with the ticket and receive the money within a month. The winner reached the bank with the ticket and received the prize money only days left for the deadline.

After the information was revealed, the native of Thiruvananthapuram, winner of last Onam bumper had faced great difficulties. This may be the reason for the winner of the Vishu Bumper to remain anonymous. Some other lucky winners of the Onam bumper also failed to reveal their names.
