PATNA: Person shot during a clash between workers during BJP meeting. The incident took place at Murliganj in Madhepura district of Bihar. Sanjay Bhagat was admitted to the hospital after he was shot in the leg.

Shortly after the meeting started, the workers organized into two groups and a conflict started after a while. Workers threw the chairs at each other during the conflict and some were injured in the chair attack. The firing took place while the conflict was escalating. Pankaj Patel was the one who fired his gun. People present at the place say that he fired several times. Pankaj tried to escape but was caught and handed over to the police. The police say that Pankaj Patel has a license for his gun. An investigation has been started into the incident.
