KANNUR: K Sudhakaran told the media in Kannur that he has changed his stance to resign from the post of KPCC president following the instructions of the high command.
"I expressed my willingness to stand aside because I was accused in a case. The high command asked me not to resign. So I changed my decision. That chapter is over", Sudhakaran said.
"A defamation case will be filed within two days against Desabhimani and CPM State Secretary MV Govindan who made the baseless allegation. AK Balan's statement that there is a move against him within the Congress should not be taken seriously. After being questioned in the financial fraud case, my confidence has increased and there is no fear or worry", he added.
After being arrested in a financial fraud case, Sudhakaran offered to quit as KPCC President.
