SHORNUR: Passenger who locked himself inside the toilet of the Vandebharat Express was brought out finally. Police brought him out by cutting the lock of the toilet. The information given by the Railway Police is that the man is a native of Mumbai. He was sitting on the toilet by locking it with a rope tied from inside. He is being interrogated currently. Officials also clarified that questions are not being answered accurately by him. It is suspected that the man is a migrant worker.

The incident took place on the train from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram. The passenger entered the toilet at Kasargod. He refused to open the door which could be opened from the inside. When he reached Kozhikode, the RTF and the police asked him to come out, but he did not respond. The officers broke the door and brought him out once the train reached Shornur. The security officials had earlier expressed suspicion that he was deliberately sitting with the door closed and had not taken a ticket.
