THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal gives a hint about arriving rains in the state. As per IMD predictions, Kerala will see heavy downpours for the coming five days. Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Kannur are placed on yellow alert for tomorrow.

The coastal areas are also warned as waves may reach ashore in the increased height of 2.6 meters which can easily invite trouble for fishermen folks. The increase in the wave size will be evident till 11:30 pm tomorrow night.
