BENGALURU: A youth has been arrested for slitting his friend’s throat and drinking blood over affair with his wife. The incident happened on June 19 at Chikkaballapur in Karnataka. The injured is Maresh of Chinthamani Taluk. The police have arrested the youth identified as Vijay.

The accused suspected that his wife was having an affair with Maresh. Vijay and his friend John took Maresh to a nearby forest on the day of the incident. Vijay then attacked Maresh, slit his throat and drank his blood.

John had captured the visuals on his mobile. The video is going viral on social media. Maresh after seeking treatment in the hospital, has gone home. He later lodged a complaint with the police.

A case of attempt to murder has been registered against Vijay at the Kencharlahalli police station.
