NEW DELHI: Videos of a duo who came for robbery, returning after paying money instead were widely circulated on social media. The incident took place in East Delhi's Farsh Bazar area of ​​Shahdara. In the video, two men wearing helmets on a scooter stop the couple walking on the road. It can be seen that the couple is being checked as well. After that, one man comes back and gives something to the couple and gets back on the scooter. It was not clear what was given to the couple but after the arrest of the accused, the truth of the incident came to light.

Two thieves stopped the couple and demanded money, but they could not find anything except a Rs.20 note in their wallet. The couple told the police that the thieves gave them Rs 100 after that. After giving a 100 rupee note, the thieves got on the scooter and left.

The police arrested the thieves after checking around 200 CCTV footages of the area. Police recovered 30 mobile phones from their possession. Dev Verma and Harsh Rajput were arrested. Police said that Dev Verma is an accountant in a private firm and Harsh is working in a private company. It is reported that both of them gave a statement to the police that they wanted to join the gang of Neeraj Bawana after watching his videos on YouTube.
