KOCHI: PDP chairman Abdul Nasser Madani reached Kerala after surpassing the month-long legal hurdle. Madani reached the Nedumbassery airport to witness a sea of supporters hollering in unison, praises to their incarcerated leader. Madani will head straight to Anwarssery to see his ailing father. The PDP leader reached Kochi with a cavalcade of Bengaluru police accompanying him.

“It is not possible to tell the full cost of travel. Will be there with my father for a few days. Now my father is in a difficult situation as he has lost all his memory. I praise God Almighty that I got a chance to spend at least a few days with him.” Madani responded earlier before reaching Kochi.

Albeit getting bail for 12 days, the Bengaluru police tried all means to move at a slow pace to deny Madani a visit to Kerala. However, the Bengaluru commissioner's office recently did an assessment of the security arrangements and gave a yes nod for Madani to visit Kerala only with a roster of police force accompanying him every time.
