KOCHI: The blood pressure of PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudany, who reached Kerala the other day, is very high. PDP leaders informed that his condition remains unchanged. He is not in a condition to travel. An expert team of doctors will examine him.

Meantime, the PDP leaders said that his journey to Kollam will be informed later. Maudany has been admitted to a private hospital in Kochi. He reached Kerala after getting relaxation in bail conditions.

Maudany accompanied by the Bengaluru police arrived at the Kochi Nedumbassery airport at 7.15 pm last night. He then left for Anwarssery to see his ailing father.

He developed uneasiness during the journey at around 9 pm. After having severe vomiting and high blood pressure, he was admitted to the Medical Trust Hospital in Kochi.

The Supreme Court had earlier relaxed the bail conditions of Maudany, who is in Bengaluru in the Bangalore blast case, to go to Kerala. Overcoming the opposition of Bengaluru police, the court gave permission for him to go to Kerala, but it was stalled due to security reasons, travel expenses etc. In the meanwhile, permission was obtained from the Bengaluru Commissioner's office. The police gave him permission for 12 days.
