KANHANGAD: Former SFI leader K Vidya, who was arrested for presenting a fake work experience certificate at Karinthalam Govt College, has been granted interim bail. Vidya was granted bail by the Hosdurg Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. Nileswaram police did not seek custody of Vidya. Vidya's lawyer informed the court that she would cooperate with the investigation. The court asked Vidya to appear before the investigating officer tomorrow and the next day. The police had also charged Vidya with IPC Section 201 (tampering with evidence).

It was the Nileswaram police that arrested Vidya for producing a fake certificate at Karinthalam Govt College. Vidya reached the Nileswaram police station in the morning with her lawyer. She told the police that the certificate was made using a phone and that phone is damaged now.

Vidya, who produced a fake certificate at Karinthalam Govt College, worked there for a year. Earlier, Vidya was arrested by Agali police for producing a fake work experience certificate at Attapadi College.
