THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A team led by Punjab excise minister Harpal Singh Cheema reached the capital to learn the success story of the state-led BEVCO corporation. Minister Cheema engaged in conversation with Minister M B Rajesh for an hour today. The Kerala minister talked in detail and apprised his Punjab counterpart about BEVCO’s triumph story.
“ Liquor is a privatized business in Punjab. After getting the know-how of Kerala's liquor success, the same will be adopted In Punjab” Cheema commented.
The Punjab entourage with the minister will stay in Kerala for four days. The team will visit distribution centers, BEVCO outlets, and warehouses to learn about the process in full. A meeting with BEVCO officials is also in the cards.
