IMPHAL: Big commotion erupted again in the hilly terrains of Manipur. The indigenous Meitei tribes swarmed the road in protest taking the body of a man who died earlier today in a clash with the army. The situation worsened at 7 pm today evening when the protesters moved towards the chief minister's residence. Police were forced to use tear gas several times to disperse the crowd. The people are currently sitting in front of the BJP office and Raj Bhavan. Tires are being burnt now giving a hint that the protest won't quell down anytime soon.

Today morning in Kangpokpi village, a native tribe got killed while fighting the army. The armed forces reached Kangpokpi at 5 am morning after getting information about a rebellion in the village. On reaching, the tribes fired at the army which forced a retaliation.
