The relatives and locals are shocked by the tragic end of Raju of Valiyavilakam Sree Lakshmi, who was beaten up by the assailants just hours before he was to hold his daughter's hand and give it to the groom.
The presence of Sreelakshmi's fiancé was active at Raju's funeral and other events from the time the incident happened.
