KOCHI: The Kerala High Court rejected the bail pleas of the first accused former principal Dr G J Shaiju and second accused former SFI leader A Visakh in the impersonation case in Kattakkada Christian College. The court ordered the two to appear before the investigating officials on July 4.
Dr Shaiju argued in the court that he had not forged a document to impersonate. The concerned people were informed about the resignation of Anakha, who won as the councilor of the university union. There are documents to prove this. He also told the court that a letter was given to the university requesting the removal of Visakh. Shouldn’t a re-election be conducted if a winning person resigns, asked the court.
The case is that the name of Anakha, who won as university union councilor from Kattakkada Christian College, was changed and the list was submitted to the university after including the name of SFI area secretary Vishakh. The police registered a case on charges of forgery, breach of trust and impersonation.
