THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deshabhimani former associate editor G Sakthidharan has made a fresh allegation that CPM had sent goons to kill G Sudhakaran. Sakthidharan made this new revelation through his Facebook post. He had earlier revealed that a top CPM leader had smuggled money using reed mats.

Sakthidharan raised the new allegation against the CPM in a post that was meant to be a response to the claim that he made the reed mat allegation to save KPCC president K Sudhakaran who is facing allegations. However, he has not revealed more details.

"In Kerala, we have a Communist society which is awaiting Sudhakaran's death. The party instilled this thought regard among its members and successfully created a society of slaves for the party. I realized that I was supporting an accused who committed the first political murder in Kerala then. However, I was not in a position to take a decision over the criticism against the party," Sakthidharan wrote on Facebook.
