KOCHI: Opposition leader VD Satheesan has said that Congress and UDF will take legal action if no case is filed regarding the revelations of Desabhimani ex-associate editor G Sakthidharan that CPM top leader smuggled black money and the party conspired to kill KPCC president K Sudhakaran. "CPM is carrying out a vicious cyber attack against Shaktidharan. Now they are trying to eliminate Sudhakaran as they cannot kill him", he said.

"Some are trying to make the uniform civil code a Hindu-Muslim issue. Each religious sect has its own customs and traditions. A uniform civil code would cause practical difficulties among the Hindus as well. There is no need for a joint agitation with CPM. There is no CPM anywhere except in Kerala", he added.

Hibi Eden told about the discontent

"Hibi Eden has been told about the discontent within the Congress ranks for introducing a private bill in Parliament to make Kochi the capital of Kerala. That is not the position of the Congress party. Hibi has assured that he will not proceed with the demand.", Satheesan said,
