CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK chief MK Stalin has been admitted to the hospital. Stalin was admitted to the private hospital in Chennai for a routine check-up, sources said. According to the medical bulletin issued by the hospital, Stalin will leave the hospital tomorrow after completing the check-up.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu government has taken steps to stop the price of tomatoes in the state from skyrocketing starting tomorrow. The government announced that tomatoes will be provided at low costs from ration shops across the state from tomorrow. Tomatoes will be sold at the rate of Rs 60 per kg. The scheme will be implemented first in Chennai. Minister for Cooperation KR Periyakaruppan announced that the scheme will be extended to other districts in the coming days.
