THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deshabhimani former associate editor G Sakthidharan has accused the police of monitoring his phone calls. Sakthidharan made the allegation through his Facebook post. He also stated that a notorious gang has been calling him over the phone and verbally abusing him for the last one week.

'The untimely death of a great idea is taking place in Kerala. For the past one week. a notorious gang has been calling me over the phone and verbally abusing me. Most of these calls are being made from foreign countries through the Internet. It is learnt that some criminals in the police force are facilitating such atrocities. Some malicious beings who are ruling as a center of excessive power in the party are behind the cyber attack directed against me. It's better if they kill me,' Sakthidharan wrote.
