NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has undergone a major revamp in various states ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The national leadership has announced new state presidents in Punjab, Telangana, Jharkhand, and Andhra Pradesh. While Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has been named the BJP chief in Telangana, Sunil Kumar Jakhar has been named the party chief in Punjab. Babulal Marandi is the new BJP state president in Jharkhand.

Former Union Minister D Purandeswari has been elected the new BJP chief in Andhra Pradesh. OBC leader Etela Rajender has been appointed as Election Management Committee Chairperson in Telangana. It is reported that Bandi Sanjay Kumar will be made Union Minister in the cabinet reshuffling that will take place soon.
