NEDUMBASSERY: Customs seized gold worth Rs 1.4 crore in three cases at the international airport here. Five women from Dubai were first caught with 1570 grams of gold hidden in their clothes.

555 grams and 317 grams of gold respectively were seized from two other women who came from Dubai. Those detained are from Malappuram, Thrissur, Kannur, Palakkad and Thiruvananthapuram districts.
