ALLEPPEY: CRPF officer missing. Sonu Krishna (35) of Ayyankoikal house, Angadikkal South, Chengannur is the one who went missing. Sonu left for Assam from Nedumbassery on July 1 after his leave days via flight.

It is reported that Sonu, who deboarded the flight, withdrew Rs 5,000 from an ATM near the Paltan Bazaar railway station. He contacted his wife on the phone at around 9 am on July 2. The phone rang at around 8 pm but was found to be switched off later. His wife Geethunath lodged a complaint with the Chengannur police yesterday as there was no information about Sonu, who was supposed to report on Sunday.
