PATHANAMTHITTA: A sub-inspector fractured his hand after a youth taken into custody for creating ruckus in Kozhencherry district hospital in a drunken stage, pushed him down. Aranmula sub inspector Saju Abraham fractured his hand. The incident happened Tuesday night at 11.30 pm. Police said Abhilash of Kurunthar pushed the cop down leading to a fracture.

The sub inspector arrived there on getting information of a youth creating a ruckus in the hospital. After taking him in custody, he was subjected for a medical examination and then brought to the station.
