LUCKNOW: A youth has been arrested in connection with the murder of a pregnant woman in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. The deceased, Rambiri was found dead in a field. Rambiri's lover and his friends were arrested during the investigation.

According to the police, the accused Aadesh and his friends killed Rambiri by hitting her head with a stone. After murdering her they left the body in a nearby field and fled. All four accused have been arrested.

Rambiri got married to Vinod in 2015. But after a year, the two parted ways. Rambiri then started living at her father's house. It was there that she met Aadesh. Then the duo fell in love. Aadesh said Rambiri got pregnant and pressured him to get married. Following this, Adesh conspired with his friends and killed her.

The police said that Rabiri was killed on July 2. Adesh's friends Deepak, Aryan, Sandeep and Rohit are the other accused in the case. The police informed that they are conducting further investigation into the incident.
