THODUPUZHA: Police have arrested a man who verbally abused and attacked a girl student. The arrested person has been identified as Dinker Wall (47). The incident took place at around 6 pm on Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening, the girl, a native of Kalloorkad, came to the ground in Painkulam to start the vehicles for the ground test of the driving school run by her mother. The house of Dinker is located nearby. The girl had parked her scooter in front of the gate of Dinker's house.

Dinker, who reached the house in his vehicle, kicked the girl's scooter down and asked who parked the scooter in front of the gate. When the girl questioned this, he publically verbally abused her and attacked her. Dinker was later arrested by DySP MR Madhubabu and his team on the complaint lodged by the girl. The accused, who was produced in court on Thursday, has been granted bail.
