BHOPAL: The tribal man who was urinated on has requested the release of Pravesh Shukla, the accused in the incident. The victim, Dashmat Rawat, said that the accused should be released and that he has realized his mistake. Pravesh Shukla was arrested by the police last Wednesday for urinating on the face of the tribal man. The police took action after the video of the brutality went viral on social media on Tuesday.

A case was registered against the accused under sections 294 and 504 of the IPC. The government has also demolished a part of his house when illegal construction was found.The opposition had alleged that the accused had links with BJP leaders. Following this,Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan washed the feet of the victimi and asked for forgiveness.
