KOCHI: Police arrested the conductor who sexually assaulted a passenger in a KSRTC bus. Aluva police arrested the conductor of the Thiruvananthapuram-Malappuram bus, Justin, a resident of Neyyatinkara.

The incident took place in Mangalapuram, Thiruvananthapuram at 6:30 am today morning. The 49-year-old lady boarded the bus from Kazhakootam. She was going to meet her daughter in Paravur and bought tickets for Aluva. Justin asked her to move next to the conductor's seat as the seat she was sitting on was reserved. Justin grabbed her forcefully while she was sitting in the conductor's seat. After this, the woman raised her voice on the bus and when the bus reached Aluva, the police arrested the conductor. A case was registered against him under sections 354 and 351.
