THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Motor Vehicle Department, which was in controversy by imposing a fine on KSEB, has imposed a new fine on KSRTC. KSRTC Swift's luxury bus service Gajaraj has been fined by MVD. The penalty is for pasting cooling film.
The fine was imposed on the Thiruvananthapuram Kazhakoottam - Kaniyapuram National Highway on the 19th of last month. A notice was sent to KSRTC showing that a fine of Rs.250 should be paid. The MVD's action pointed out that cooling film was pasted on the rear glass of the bus, which obstructed the view. Meanwhile, KSRTC has not yet paid the fine.
A fine of Rs 20,500 was imposed after the AI camera caught the KSEB vehicle in Wayanad carrying a long hook. Then there was a controversy when KSEB pulled the fuse of the MVD office. The new news is coming out while there is a fight about this on social media.
