CHENNAI: Vande Bharat trains were a new revelation for the people of India. Hitherto, trains were just a means of transport but never a luxury. However, with the introduction of Vande Bharat, a new chapter has been scripted in the history of Indian railways. And now, after all the gala with the initial introduction, Vande Bharat is set to reach rails with 25 more elite features. The new Vande Bharat train rake has reached the integral coach factory in Chennai. "After taking feedback from railway zones across the country, 25 more additional features have been included in the new Vande Bharat trains", said railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
NEW FEATURES
Anti-climbing features will be employed in the new rake to ensure better safety of trains. Minister said it will be the staple feature of the new trains introduced. The railway is also planning to introduce an additional coach in Vande Bharat specially aimed for unreserved classes.
Yesterday reports spiraled about Vande Bharat moving ahead with a color correction turning from white to orange. After every service, the white color trains collect more dirt and it turns arduous for the cleaning employees to do a yeoman's work every time to wipe out the dirt to its initial white. The orange meanwhile collects dirt but may be less visible to the passengers and outsiders. However, the railway is yet to approve the new color scheme selected.
