THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hundred kilos of ganja and half a kilo of MDMA were seized in a massive drug hunt in Pallithura. The Excise Enforcement Squad seized ganja brought in the car and MDMA kept in the house. In the incident, Joshua, a native of Thiruvananthapuram Kadinamkulam, and Carlos, Shibu and Anu, natives of Valiyaveli, were taken into custody by enforcement.

Excise stated that the persons who were engaged in the drug trade by renting a house in Pallithura were the ones who got arrested. Excise officials rounded them up when they were bringing 100 kg of ganja to the house by car. Later, during the inspection conducted inside the car, 100 kg of ganja stored in 62 packages was found. Both men who came in the car were caught. An inspection was conducted at the rented house where they lived after this. Half a kilo of MDMA was seized from the house and two people present were taken into custody.
