NEW YORK: A 13-month-old girl died after her mother accidentally drove over her in the US state of Arizona. The deceased, Cyra Rose Theoming accidentally fell under the car when her mother was driving the car parked near the house.

Officials said that the woman called the police on July 6, saying that her 13-month-old baby fell under the car she was driving. The woman told police that she thought her daughter was safely in the car seat.

The accident occurred while the vehicle was moving forward. Medical personnel tried to save the critically injured child but could not. The police are investigating the incident in detail. It is reported that no decision has been taken regarding filing a case against the mother.
