PALAKKAD: The print of the teaching experience certificate prepared in the name of Ernakulam Maharajas College by former SFI leader K Vidya, has been recovered. The investigation team got the print from an internet cafe at Palarivattom in Kochi. This was prepared to produce in the interview of guest lecturer at Attappady Government College.

Vidya had given a statement to the police that she tore up the certificate at Attappady pass after the teacher who conducted the interview raised suspicions over the phone. Vidya had also told the investigation team that the fake certificate was made on the phone.

Its print was found from a cafe in Palarivattom with the help of Google. The police said that Vidya took the copy of her research materials and binding from here. The investigation team recorded the statement of the cafe operator. The examination was with the help of a cyber expert from the district police. The police also said Vidya produced two fake certificates at Attappady College.

When examined Vidya's phone, we found evidence of attaching a fake certificate, but due to the oldness, no other information was found. With this, Agali DySP N Muraleedharan approached Google to retrieve the information. The police also received information that the print of the fake certificate presented at Karinthalam Government College in Kasargod was taken from an Akshaya Kendra in Thrikaripur. The charge sheet in the Attappady case will be filed this month itself.
