THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran has alleged that he is being frame in fraud case involving Monson Mavunkal. Sudhakaran accused the chief minister of promising a promotion to the officer investigating the money transaction if he is jailed in the case. Sudhakaran said that the case and actions against him are based on this offer.

A case was registered against K Sudhakaran in the financial transaction in the antiquities fraud case. Sudhakaran was questioned and arrested by the crime branch and was released on anticipatory bail. Ex-employees of Monson had testified that K Sudhakaran received Rs 25 lakh from Monson in the antiquities fraud case. The crime branch says that there is digital evidence to prove this. Sudhakaran's arrest was based on this evidence.
