KOZHIKODE: It is hinted the CPM will take disciplinary action against a senior CPM leader in Kozhikode after the two-member commission appointed by the party found that he had committed a serious breach of discipline. Disciplinary action was recommended against the former MLA and current member of the district committee in the district committee meeting held on Wednesday.
The leader also came to participate in the meeting attended by CPM state secretary MV Govindan. No one supported the leader during the meeting. Serious allegations were levelled against him. There are indications that he will be removed from the membership of the district committee and the post of the office-bearer of various subsidiary organizations. He is also likely to be suspended from the party.
