Youth Congress leader Rahul Mankoottathil has called out Minister V Sivankutty's statement regarding the recent collision between the pilot vehicle and an ambulance, labelling it as false. Sharing CCTV footage on Facebook, Rahul asserted that the minister's claim of personally intervening for ten minutes and overseeing the situation was a lie. He further criticized the minister for failing to display basic human courtesy by not visiting the accident site or checking on the injured individuals.
Rahul highlighted the Assembly ruckus case where the Minister was captured expressing anger during a televised assembly session. He noted that countless people witnessed the footage, raising questions about the minister's credibility when he dismissed the incident as fabricated in court. In this context, Rahul questioned whether the public should expect more honesty from the minister.
Full version of the Facebook post:
A news was shared yesterday that Education Minister V Shivankutty's pilot vehicle hit an ambulance and did not stop.
The capsule given by the minister said that the minister stopped the vehicle and interfered with the affected people for about ten minutes....
But today, when more CCTV footage comes out, it is clear that he did not come to the accident site., it is said that the minister did not even show the human decency to even look at the injured... and then he lies without a trace...
After lakhs of people watching the footage of his actions in the legislative assembly, should we expect more honesty from the minister who said that the footage was fake?
'TCTV' cheated.
