TIRUPATI: A day before the launch of Chandrayaan-3, India's third lunar exploration mission ISRO scientists visited the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. The scientists visited the temple with a miniature model of Chandrayaan 3. It is reported that eight scientists including ISRO Scientific Secretary Shantanu Bhatawdekar visited the temple to offer prayers. The video of them entering the temple has also been released.


'Chandrayaan-3 will start its journey tomorrow. We are hopeful that everything will go well and we will land on the moon on August 23', ISRO Chairman S Somanath said after offering prayers at the temple. The 25.30-hour-long countdown started today at 1.05 pm. Chandrayaan-3 will be launched tomorrow at 2:35 pm from Sriharikota.
