MUMBAI: Police said the Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room has received an anonymous call threatening to conduct a 26/11-like attack. The Mumbai police control room received the threat call yesterday. More clarification is needed in it, informed the police.
The officials said they got the message via an app and the caller spoke in Urdu. The caller threatened the police to prepare for a 26/11 terrorist attack if Pakistani national Seema Haider (30) does not return to Pakistan. The police added that the crime branch team has been appointed for further investigations in connection with the incident. The message said that if the attack takes place, the full responsibility will be with the government of Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh.
Seema Haider reached India recently. She entered India illegally to marry her lover Sachin Meena (25) residing in Greater Noida. The two fell in love while playing PUBGY an online game. The police had arrested her for staying in India illegally. The court later granted her bail.
