BEIJING: China executed a kindergarten female teacher for poisoning 25 children by adding sodium nitrate to their porridge. One among the children was killed in the gruesome incident.

Wang Yun (40) was found guilty of the charges of poisoning young students from the Mengmeng Pre-school Education in Jiaozuo four years ago. A notice was pasted in front of the court in Henan province of Jiaozuo which sent word about Wang’s execution.

In 2019, on March 27, Wang jumped into an altercation with her colleague over some student management issues. The incident stayed in her mind only morphing into something big that forced the teacher to plan a horrendous reprisal, playing with the life of small children. Wang adulterated the sweet dished porridge at school using sodium nitrate and tried to plant the case on her nemesis. Sodium nitrate is mostly used to keep fish and meat products fresh from turning stale. Before trying the abominable act on students, Wang played the trick with her husband but miraculously, the man escaped death.

According to reports, Wang purchased the chemical online. Most students who were subjected to her cruelly surpassed the scare, astonishing many since the use of this chemical can be fatal to internal organs. One student succumbed to the poison while all others experienced vomiting and weariness.

On Thursday, the court verified Wang's identity, escorted her to the execution ground, and carried out the death sentence.
