KOCHI: Malayali footballer Sahal Abdul Samad left Kerala Blasters. The player will be donning the boots for Kolkata club Mohun Bagan next season. Blasters themselves have confirmed this. Blasters will get Pritam Kotal from Mohun Bagan to replace Sahal. The Kolkata club will get Sahal on a five-year contract. The annual pay of the footballer will be two crore rupees.

Fans are very disappointed with the player's club change. Sahal, the star of Blasters, has put up a brilliant performance for the team since 2018. The player played 90 matches for the team and scored 10 goals. Sahal's role was crucial in helping Blasters reach the finals in the 2021-2022 ISL season. Blasters have shared a video on social media thanking Sahal with the title 'Orairam Nanni'.

Sahal is playing in great form now. The footballer is performing brilliantly for the Indian team also. Sahal performed well when India won the SAFF Cup and the Intercontinental Cup. He also scored a goal for the team. The star got married to Badminton player Reza Farhat recently.
