THRISSUR: Thrissur railway station witnessed dramatic scenes as a youngster attacked the childline workers and kidnapped a girl in broad daylight. The incident happened at today noon.

As per reports, both the girl and the youngster are Chhattisgarh natives. The two were roaming in the station for many hours which got the eyes of child line workers. The workers finding their antics suspicious took them to the office. While the officers were asking the girl about her whereabouts, the youngster took a broken beer bottle and fixed it to one of the officer's neck, and threatened them to leave the girl alone.

Immediately after this, both of them did a daring act by jumping onto a moving train. The big shouts and clamors from officers alerted the passengers who pulled the chain and stopped the vehicle. The laborers inside the train tried stopping the two, but they slipped all attempts to go into escape.

Railway police have started an investigation into the case.
