NEW DELHI: A new bench of the Supreme Court will consider the SNC Lavalin case on the 18th of this month. A two-member bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Dipankar Mehta will consider the case. This case has been adjourned more than thirty times.
The case came to the new bench when Justice CT Ravikumar, who is a Malayali, withdrew. Justice CT Ravikumar withdrew stating that the Lavalin case was heard in the High Court. Supreme Court is considering the CBI petition against the acquittal of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and against the High Court verdict filed by other accused persons that they should face trial.
