NEW DELHI: India’s prized lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 was launched yesterday at 2:35 pm from Sriharikota. Since then, the media was replete with videos and images showing the launch from myriad angles. Most videos were quotidian, taken from the outskirts of Sriharikota, and had nothing big that elicited a curious watch; unless for the sheer pride of watching India’s lunar mission succeed. However, one man went the odd way and took the video from a passenger flight which is now running viral across the internet.
A passenger named Dr. P V Venkitakrishnan shot the event after the pilot of the same flight informed the passengers about the legendary scenario happening just distances away from their sojourn. The Indigo flight was heading to destination Dhaka from Chennai
Meanwhile, another man named Raj Bala coincidently shooted the video from the ground and got both the flight and the spacecraft in his frame, which he shared in glee.
