NEW DELHI: The state government has sought the support of the central government in solving the problem of street dogs in Kerala. Animal Welfare Minister J Chinchurani in a meeting with Union Ministers and senior officials called for more ABC centers for stray dog birth control in the state. An attempt is being made to complete vaccination against rabies in dogs in three years. The cow insurance scheme will be completed in time. The minister also said in Delhi that door-to-door ambulances for domestic animals will be started. She added that the central government has assured that it will consider the needs of Kerala sympathetically.
