murder

GURGAON: In a dismal episode of ineptness from the school authority, a class 7 student died in Faridabad on Sunday, a day after she had a tense bout with vomiting. The school kept the health status of the child in the dark and never cared to inform the parents about the looming illness. Aradhya Khandelwal's father, an electrical engineer in sector -19 questioned the negligence of the school authorities while the whole family was shattered over the incident.

The mother of another student who was best friends with Aradhya opened up about the incident after learning the truth from her daughter. Aradhya was feeling nauseous in the class and asked permission to leave. However, the teacher denied it but asked her to go to the washroom instead. The girl returned back from the restroom but was still not over the sickness. The faculty however forced the girl to write maths exams and later asked her to take medicines from the sick room.

The mother of another student says it was pure ignorance from the school authority, especially the class teacher since informing her parents stays prior and it is the first thing they should have done. The girl on her return back to home from school vomited inside her school van. The van driver scolded her for making the seats dirty but Aradhya was in the grip of sickness that she barely noticed his reproach.

After reaching home, she asked for lemon juice from her father. However, not late after sipping it up, Aradhya vomited again which concerned the hitherto calm family members. She was taken to the hospital but died the next day in a rare case of dehydration. If for any timely treatment, Aradhya could have been saved.
