MALAPPURAM: One man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor boy in Malappuram. Palakkad Mundakkottukurissi native Ibrahim(46) was arrested by Malappuram police. The accused sexually assaulted the minor boy inside a car.

The minor boy after attending his tuition class was waiting for the bus at Kottappadi bus station. Ibrahim was passing through the route and saw the boy sitting alone. He offered to drop the boy at his home and the bait worked easily. Inside the car, Ibrahim started touching the boy inappropriately and later asked for the boy's phone number. The boy was soon dropped midway on the road after the numbers were exchanged. POCSO and kidnapping have been charged against Ibrahim. The accused is currently under remand.
