BALI: Bodybuilder and fitness influencer Justyn Vicky(33) suffered a tragic death after a 210 kg barbell landed on his neck from height. The Indonesian native was engaged in his regular fitness regimen but was seen unsettled while lifting up a 210 kg barbell for a squat press. The weight seemed unable for Vicky to handle, and he sought assistance from another trainer, who rushed to the spot. While putting down the weight, Vicky quivered and lost his balance to drop the barbell on his neck while he fell back into a sitting position.

The incident happened on July 15th and the video of the same is currently doing its rounds on the internet. Vicky was massively injured in the incident and was rushed to hospital for treatment. An immediate surgery was performed but the influencer couldn't be saved.

The Paradise Bali, the gym where he worked, in an Instagram post, called Vicky a "beacon of inspiration, motivation, and unwavering support."
