KOCHI: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is planning to file a complaint against Speaker A N Shamseer in all the police stations in Kerala for his controversial remarks. A memorandum will be submitted to the President and the Governor demanding to oust him. The state governing board meeting of the VHP to be held in Ernakulam on July 30 will plan the protest programmes to be staged. VHP state general secretary V R Rajasekaran said what has happened from his side is an unforgivable mistake.
A decision has been taken in the meeting to file a complaint against him in all police stations of the state before July 30 accusing him of insulting Hindu faith and preaching in a manner that causes religious conflict.
The BJP has also lodged a police complaint demanding legal action against his statement. Thiruvananthapuram district vice president R S Rajeev filed a complaint with the commissioner.
The speaker's controversial speech was while inaugurating the Vidya Jyoti Slate project in Kunnathunadu constituency on July 21. The speaker blamed for trying to teach children the myths of Hindu mythology instead of the achievements in science and technology. Establishing that plane, infertility treatment and plastic surgery existed since the time of Hinduism. The answer to the question of who invented the plane was the Wright Brothers. However, the speaker had mentioned that trying to establish the first flight was Pushpaka Vimanam.
